Hotel David - Florence

Our stay was fantastic, especially the free happy hour with delicious snacks and drinks, the splendid breakfast with numerous options, and the lovely complimentary mini bar. I’d definitely choose this place again!

Fast and free wifi in rooms. Great staff and superb restaurant recommendations- be sure to try Gattabuia and Affa di Bacce, both of which are mostly frequented by locals.

It offers amazing location and has lovely friendly and gentle staff who made Lattes on request. 17 minutes drive to the airport, it is located to the historical area of Florence😀😃

Hotel David is a treasure! The free happy hour was like a daily Italian feast, perfect for winding down. Morning breakfast was a delight with eggs and fresh pastries. Plus, the nearby gems like La Piperna and Caffe Bargioni gave me a real taste of Florentine life.

Nothing stood out that I disliked. It was my second time at the hotel, and I plan to return on any future visit to Florence. A little tip, shifting Happy Hour time would help avoid clashing with dinner plans.

Luxury hotel, it has magnificent views and beautiful location in centre etc Reception. The breakfast was savoury, nice to have pastries, bakery, eggs, bacon and cheese. Great service, they provide a free parking and free Wi-Fi. It offers early check-in...

Hotel David has a charming ambiance with attentive staff who care about your comfort. The happy hour with free snacks is a lovely touch, and the included breakfast is notably good. The walk to the city center may feel long, especially in hot weather.

It is an incredible place, where everything works, everything is designed to be really comfortable and superb. The staff is more than friendly, you feel like they're there for you. The breakfast is really very good, unique. They have all the solutions. They give you a map and explain how to get to each place. At the door there are buses and they sell you tickets. There are computers and a printer for free. The products in the bathroom are unique, of superior quality. The room is big, comfortable and clean. And at 18.30 they serve a happy hour, which can be inside or in the garden which is incredible, almost a dinner. There are free croissants for the arrival at the hotel and a self-service bar with very low prices where you write down what you consumed. I can spend a day telling details that were unique. And I want to thank all the staff, especially Chiara, who was very kind to me.

Is there anything in this hotel that you might not like?

Hotel David has excellent services offered, such as an extensive complimentary happy hour, free wi-fi throughout the building, good breakfast, free international land line phone calls at a certain time, etc. Parking was also a bonus for us in Florence. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large for Florence and extremely clean. We really appreciated the gift of a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon, and the staff even noticed my husband's birthday on his passport and gave him a card and some pastries.

Fabulous stay, staff were wonderful and could not do enough. The happy hour was highlight got to meet people and exchange adventures. The breakfast room was lovely and good variety of food. Excellent stay highly recommend and definitely would go back

Really good hospitality and lovely experiences

The highlight was undoubtedly the complimentary happy hour, where we enjoyed local wines and delicious appetizers. Breakfast was equally good, with homemade pastries and a variety of fruits that energized us for our day. The beautiful outdoor terrace provided a serene spot to relax and soak in the ambiance of Florence. One minor improvement could be adding more seating in common areas to gather comfortably.

Great and beautiful location just next door to the tourist areas and train station, Florence for one night and the Michelangiolo Square and church in a really safe area. Airy, new-fashioned units provided with balcony, a terrace on the other, as example.

Free happy hour with wine and snacks makes this place special. A bit far from the main sights, but the walk is nice. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Perfect.

Kind and helpful staffs and clean room

It was 1st floor right next to very busy road with lots of car traffic. Although there was double glass it wasn't enough to block all the noise.

The location - just out of the main tourist area- was brilliant; the staff were very friendly and the little extras (free mini bar, nightly happy hour, free wi-fi and free 10 min phone call home every day) were really the icing on a very special cake!

The gracious hospitality of all the staff. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate guests and make the stay comfortable and pleasant, anticipating needs. The room was attractive and our room had a terrace. The complimentary aPpetizers and wine made for a start to a lovely evening in Florence. The parking was convenient and the hotel conveniently located to some of Florence's major museums and the Piazzele de Michelangolo allowing for a really nice walk and view of all of Florence. We recommend hotel to all our friends. And would stay again.
